An 5. Stelle: Wearables and Implantables

The bridge to the smart contact starts with smart glasses, VR headsets and yes, the Apple watch. Wearable technologies are growing exponentially. New smart augmented glasses like Google Glass, RECON JET, METAPro, and Vuzix M100 Smart Glasses are just the beginning. In fact, CastAR augmented 3D glasses recently received over a million dollars in funding on Kickstarter. Their goal was only four hundred thousand. The market is ready for smart vision, and tech companies should move away from handheld devices if they want to compete.

The question of what is real and augmented will be irrelevant in the future. We will be able to create our reality with clusters of information cults that can only see certain augmented information realities if you are in these groups. All information will be instantaneously available in the augmented visual future.

  2. Smart Glasses
    JANUARY 15, 2016

"The plans for smart glasses include an Internet connection that will allow you to go online or watch videos right on your glasses lens. The goal is that you will be able to see what is ahead of you while you are wearing the glasses. Some plans for the glasses include built-in cameras, having software that will recognize certain faces, and a GPS system. Some smart glasses will connect to a laptop or smart phone. There are some planning Bluetooth connections. There are also going to be certain apps that can connect to the Glasses"

"There are already many companies working on these extraordinary glasses. Those companies are: Google, Apple, and Vuzix."

Enterprise wearable deployments to go “from dozens to thousands” in 2016

"Brian Ballard, CEO of APX Labs, said: “For wearable technology, 2015 was the year of the enterprise. The first wave of companies jumped in and are well into their initial deployments. We saw it in many industries and for many different types of jobs."

"... is expected to leapfrog the smartphone as the key driver of hardware development in the technology sector."

"The last prediction from the company may raise a few eyebrows: APX says special attention must be paid to Intel in the wearable space as the company is looking to develop itself into a dominant force in the sector. Over the past year, Intel has acquired Recon Instruments and is investing nearly $25 million in smart glasses manufacturer Vuzix."
