Welcome @Kenan Version 0.0.9.1 (the link above must still work) from early 2018 was unfortunately the last version that still supported VR. I would give up my hope that this would somehow work with today's SteamVR/Oculus environment.
Thanks for the reply. I managed to make both version (V9 and V10) work. The simplest way to do it is to physically disconnect from internet OR disable access to applications via firewall. More info here: https://www.reddit.com/r/stage9/comments/th77cn/stage_9_crashes_at_stage_one/
