The Vuzix M100 makes the list of innovative examples of wearable tech in customer service. Wearable Technology and Customer Service: 50 Innovative Examples: http://blogs.clicksoftware.com/index/wearable-technology-customer-service-50-innovative-examples
Coole App wie ich finde. Auf meiner Nachfrage hin beim Vuzix Partner Onthego Plattforms läuft diese App namens "Ghost Runner Leader Board" mit der Vuzix M100 und der Recon Jet. Das Release Datum ist aber noch offen. Hier das Video dazu:
Juniper Research has released its report on the Top Ten Trends for 2016 and we're delighted to see that VR and Wearables in the workplace have been included. We're even more pleased they've used a picture of DHL using the Vuzix M100 in the workplace. Here's the piece: Wearables Go to Work While consumers have been lukewarm about wearable technology other than fitness devices, enterprise is taking to them in a big way. Smart glasses, semi-independent smartwatches and a range of motion sensing devices are expected to roll out to a range of deskless industries and government agencies in 2016. This follows many successful pilots in logistics, field services, law enforcement and customer services this year and last. Results from these show that, given the right execution, wearable tech could improve productivity by over 30%, although there are likely to be some negative reactions to their use in customer-facing industries where recording capabilities are obvious. Hier eine aktuelle Pressemeldung vom 24.9.15 Vuzix Brings ONtheGO Platforms' Gesture Tech, Ari™, to M100 Smart Glasses Hier mal ein paar Auszüge: "Gesture recognition is going to be one of the major user interfaces for smart glasses and ONtheGO Platforms' Ari™ is the leading solution in the space. We are very excited about the addition of Ari™ to the Vuzix app store and to be making it available to the Vuzix M100 Smart Glasses community," said Paul Travers, President and Chief Executive Officer at Vuzix. There are currently numerous Fortune 500 companies using Ari™ on the Vuzix M100 Smart Glasses in industrial settings, while gloved up, on the move, or in noisy situations where traditional interfaces do not suffice. However, this is the first time the Ari™ gesture recognition platform is being extended to the Vuzix developer community as a whole. "The Vuzix developer community has proven to be one of the most innovative groups in the space, so we are thrilled to see the cutting-edge smart glasses applications and experiences they create while using Ari™ for both the enterprise and prosumer sectors," remarked ONtheGO Platforms CEO, Ryan Fink. Professor Masahiko Tsukamoto researches the practical usage of wearable computing, ubiquitous computing systems, and interfacing. In particular, he researches the practical applications in entertainment, health, and eco-friendliness. He has been wearing HMD and a wearable computer since March 2001. While he has many wearable wrist devices, you can clearly see the only wearable eyewear he's using in this video is the Vuzix M100. Feeling proud. Quelle: https://www.facebook.com/vuzixeurope
