naja YAWVR meldet sich nicht mehr und der Rest waren Vermutung und Anschuldigungen aus der Discord Community.Ich wollte aber ohne offizielles Statement von YawV R nichts weiterverbreiten(ist mir danach eingefallen) da es ja sein kann das sie Umstrukturieren und einen anderen Plan verfolgt als die Community denkt.
@axacuatl , @Dotterdolch habt ihr schonmal ein Backup von der SD-Karte eures RaspBerry in eurer Yaw gemacht?Im Discord wird wohl empfohlenein Backup zu erstellen weil es ja kein Support mehr gibt.Der SD port soll zwar hinten am Yaw logo eingebaut sein ,aber ich will ungern das Teilaufschrauben (dort habe ich gerade einen Mehrfachstecker sowie den PowerHub verbaut).Es soll mehrere Möglichkeiten geben ein Backup zu machen https://raspberrytips.com/backup-raspberry-pi/

Gibt es was neues von denen? Kann mir jemand erklären wie das Game die Bewegung des Stuhles für die Controller rausrechnet? Geht das dann nur mit Steam games und nicht mit standalone? Und wie gut funktioniert das?
Im moment (seit mehreren Monaten) ist totale Funkstille mit YAW und keiner weiß genaues.Verkauf und Support ist total eingestellt und der Kauf nurüber den Secondhandmarkt ( aber würde ich nicht machen, nicht alle Teile können kompatibel bestellt werden, d.h. Teile wurden speziell in der Yaw- Firma angepasst).Mit den Controllen hat das nix zu tun, sie dienen dem MC ,also das das Bild bei Bewegung nicht wegdriftet),Die Bewegung wird von der Zusatz-software Gamelink, SRS oder Simhub ausgelesen und das Spiel muss von der Software unterstützt werden.Das funktioniert eigentlich mit den meisten SteamVR oder auch OpenXR.Standalone funktionieren zwar auch ein paar Spiele, aber nur mit der Quest.Da die aber von YAWVR angepasst wurden ist nicht damit zu rechnen,das weitere folgen.Man muss abwarten, bis jetzt gibt es nur Spekulationen und Gerüchte.Es sieht nicht gut aus
Ich hatte gelesen, dass jemand an ihrem Standort vorbeigeschaut hatte und die Räumlichkeiten schon ausgeräumt sein sollen. Also da muss man leider davon ausgehen, dass da Schicht im Schacht ist. Allerdings hat ItsVRK (Brian) aus dem Yaw Forum, eine Art Super-User, der mit Zsolt auch einige Interviews geführt hatte, wohl ab und an noch Kontakt mit Zsolt, geht dabei aber wohl vor allem um die Zurverfügungstellung von Infos & Dateien, mit denen die Community selber den Support für ihre Units regeln kann.
Ja , ist aber schon alt und inzwischen hatte sich Zsolt schon bei ein paar angeblich gemeldet und redet von einer ganz anderen Situation. Deswegen kann man nicht wirklich durchblicken.VRGamerDude wollte motoren wechseln und hatte die mit Seriennr. bei Aliexpress bestellt und musste feststellen das sie trotzdem nicht passten.Sie sind von Yaw modifiziert wie Zsolt bestätigte und kann nur in großer Stückzahl beim Großhändler bestellt werden.(min.500 stck für je 70$).Deswegen Überhitzung vermeiden.Mein Setting ist bei max 30% und die Achsen auf max 13°.Das reicht für Fliegen auf alle Fälle, aber bei allen anderen weiss ich nicht.<Vermeide eigentlich alles ausser MSFS2024
vrgamerdude now ask for the motor situation at least for the model that was in mine I have some very bad news! I spoke to the company last night and they said that these are custom motors so far as even having a custom sized shaft and that I cannot replace it with a standard motor. almost every motor I have sourced seems to have a welded plate on it which is one of the customizations that yaw apparently did, as well as the heat sink and venting holes for the fan exhaust in the back. according to the company those are all non-standard and cannot be ordered as a single unit and must be ordered in a large batch.
